I chose this picture next because I think that the villain is trying to hide something. This is effective because the audience would feel a sense of shiver by looking at the deep black water. The water gives the viewers the impression that the innocent in this horror movie does not exist anymore and that evil is wide spread.
This shot is shot at a point of view shot which enables the viewer to sense everything from the characters viewpoint and perspective. For example, the viewer can feel what the character is feeling at this precise moment.
