2. Passage Way Image

I have decided to position this image next because the audience would feel terrified as this gives the impression that evil itself is existing and forbidding in its own presence.The camera uses a tracking shot where this enables the audience to trail the villain and his actions. This makes the viewers feel a sense of belonging and awareness to what is happening in this horror movie.

The camera also uses an extreme long shot, which is usually shot at the beginning of the film to make the audience become more alert of what is happening. In this scene the viewer has a quick glance at the landscape and the small figure, which is being seen in front of the shining light. This gives the audience the feeling that the villain is hiding its identity. This is because the figure is seen as black, which suggests that the villain’s character is seen as intimidating and threatening.
